Role Overview: Provides direct patient care and supervises nursing staff on an assigned unit to ensure high-quality, safe, and cost-effective care.
Responsibilities: Conducts performance evaluations, manages staffing and supplies, addresses performance issues, and communicates effectively with staff, patients, and visitors. Participates in policy development, promotes evidence-based practices, mentors staff, and ensures regulatory compliance. Supports a positive work environment aligned with Magnet principles and assists in resolving patient and family concerns.
Qualifications & Skills: Enrolled in a BSN program with at least 2 years of nursing experience. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills essential.
