Clinical RN – High-Risk Cardiology (Night Shift)

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, primarily caring for patients with myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, and pulmonary hypertension. The nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team and educating patients and families on managing their conditions, medications, and post-treatment needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting patient and family-centered care in a healing environment
  • Ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
  • Developing and documenting care plans aligned with standards and communicating across care teams
  • Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and barriers
  • Participating in professional development and maintaining a safe work environment

Qualifications:

  • Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred
  • Licensure: RN license required
  • Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred
