Role Overview:
Seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to enhance patient outcomes in the ICU by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include participating in daily ICU rounds, providing clinical pharmacy services such as order verification, pharmacokinetic, warfarin, and TPN consults. The role involves evaluating medication profiles, monitoring therapy, contributing to research, and serving as a preceptor for pharmacy residents and students. The pharmacist will also engage in committee activities and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD)
- PGY1 residency required
- Minimum 2 years of experience; 2-5 years preferred
- Licenses including Medication Therapy Services in MO and RPh certification
- Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills
