Role: Registered Nurse in the Transitional Care Unit at a Level I Trauma Center.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promote patient and family-centered care, educate on illness management, and participate in safety, quality, and compliance activities. Develop and communicate individualized care plans, assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and consider patient values and cultural factors. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; RN license essential. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience. Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment and demonstrate critical thinking, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills. No supervisory experience required.
