Role: Registered Nurse in the Transitional Care Unit, working in a Level I Trauma Center.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication use.
- Participate in patient safety, quality improvement, and professional development activities.
- Develop and communicate individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients/families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN licensure; no prior experience required.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and two years of experience.
- Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe working practices.
