This role supports the Transitional Care Unit, focusing on caring for boarding patients in the ED awaiting inpatient beds.
It offers 3×12 night shifts with every 3rd weekend, and up to a $15k sign-on bonus for external applicants.
Preferred experience includes ED and/or inpatient care.
Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, education, promoting safety and quality, developing care plans, assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and ensuring effective communication across care teams.
Minimum requirements are a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree and RN licensure; a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience are preferred.
The position is safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and safe work practices.
