Position: Clinical Nurse Supervisor
Location: LOH Main – Naperville
Type: Full Time
Hours: PMs 3pm-11pm
Role Overview: The Clinical Nurse Supervisor oversees patient care, assesses patient conditions, develops care plans, documents treatments, and evaluates outcomes. They supervise unit personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and quality nursing care in alignment with standards, coordinate patient placement, authorize overtime, and manage workflows for admissions and discharges. They lead routine unit projects, collaborate with medical staff, and utilize resources effectively to address complex patient needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising and guiding staff on patient care delivery
- Hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining personnel
- Resolving work-related issues and managing departmental operations
- Overseeing patient flow and ensuring compliance with standards
Qualifications & Skills:
- Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing
- Problem-solving, conflict management, and customer service skills
- Preferred experience in behavioral health and charge nurse roles
- Current Illinois RN license and CPI certification within 90 days of hire
