Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a pediatric hospital setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The nurse will promote patient- and family-centered care, educate families on managing illnesses, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include developing and documenting individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, and addressing patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting their values and cultural backgrounds. Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current RN license
- Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Key Duties:
- Assess and evaluate patient needs across physical, emotional, and psychosocial domains
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management
