Clinical Nurse – Pediatric Operating Room

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care in a pediatric hospital setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
  • Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication.
  • Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors.
  • Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.
  • Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum education includes a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree with RN licensure.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills are essential.
