Clinical Nurse – Pediatric Float Pool

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in various specialized units, including ICUs & ER, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration. Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.

Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team and families. Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and barriers to involvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • RN license required
  • Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred
  • 2+ years of acute care experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety awareness

Key Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality, comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
  • Ensure safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
