Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Focuses on promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. Develops and documents individualized care plans, collaborates with the healthcare team, and communicates effectively across care continuum. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural values. Maintains safety and professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Promotes healing environment and patient education on post-treatment care and medication.
- Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities; engages in professional development.
- Develops and communicates personalized care plans with team and patients/families.
- Assesses physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, considering patient values and barriers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience; 2+ years preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaborative skills.
- Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive environment.
