Clinical Nurse PACU Interventional Radiology

Role Overview:

This nursing position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, primarily within the PACU, managing interventional radiology cases and caring for pre/post-operative patients. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities to participate in innovative procedures and initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
  • Educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
  • Promoting safety, quality, and regulatory standards while participating in professional development activities.
  • Using critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers to involvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN licensure.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work alertly in safety-sensitive roles.
