Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engages in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring clear communication across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors. Maintains safety-sensitive responsibilities requiring alertness and safe practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing, RN license, no prior experience required.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, at least 2 years of experience.
- Critical care or procedural experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, assessment, and patient education skills.
