Clinical Nurse – Outpatient Gyn/Chemotherapy Center

Role: Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
  • Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with collaborative input from patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring clear communication across care settings.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
  • Maintains safety-sensitive standards, working in a constant state of alertness to ensure safe practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • RN licensure required; 2+ years of oncology experience and chemo certification are preferred.
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and patient education skills.

Additional Information: This role is PRN, with clinic hours Monday through Friday, no weekends, holidays, or call. Located on the 13th Floor in the Center for Advanced Medicine.
