Role Overview:
This role involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, developing individualized care plans collaboratively, and communicating effectively across care teams. Qualifications and Skills:
- RN license with a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
- 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology and chemo-certified
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills
- Ability to work safely and alertly in a healthcare environment
Key Duties:
- Provide compassionate, timely chemotherapy infusion and related care
- Educate patients and families on treatment and home care needs
