Clinical Nurse Outpatient Gyn/Chemo Center

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in an outpatient chemo infusion setting, focusing on women with gynecologic cancers. Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
  • Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engages in professional development.
  • Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans, coordinating communication across care teams.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • RN license required; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
  • 2+ years of RN experience, oncology experience, and chemo certification preferred.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a healthcare environment.
