Clinical Nurse – Orthopedics

Role Overview: The Clinical Nurse provides direct patient care in a specialized orthopedic unit, utilizing advanced techniques in limb salvage, minimally invasive procedures, deformity correction, trauma, and surgical repair. This full-time night position involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, promoting patient and family education, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities: Develops and modifies individualized care plans, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and case managers, and participates in professional development activities. Ensures patient safety, regulatory compliance, and fosters patient-centered care with a focus on positive outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires a nursing diploma or associate’s degree, with licensure within 90 days of graduation. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in nursing. No prior experience is necessary; strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills are essential. The role offers exposure to diverse complex cases and opportunities for professional growth within a highly regarded orthopedic program.
