Role Overview:
Seeking registered nurses to join a patient-focused team on a short-stay inpatient unit specializing in Orthopedic, Spine, Urological, and Plastic Surgery care. The role involves providing direct patient care, assessing needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and educating patients and families on post-treatment management. Nurses will participate in safety, quality, and compliance activities, promote a healing environment, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, advocating for patient-centered care, and maintaining communication across care teams. The position emphasizes professional development and adherence to standards of nursing care, with safety as a priority.
Qualifications include an RN license, a nursing diploma or associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred), with a minimum of 1 year of experience (2 years preferred). Prior supervisory experience is not required.
