Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in an orthopedic setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participate in ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring clear communication across care transitions.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors.
- Maintain a safe working environment, demonstrating alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Experience is not mandatory; however, ≥2 years of experience is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
