Clinical Nurse – Operating Room Orthopedic Surgery Center

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care within an orthopedic surgery setting, focusing on assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities.
Responsibilities include promoting patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, ensuring safety and quality standards, and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
The role requires strong critical thinking skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Licensure: Active RN license.
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
  • Skills: Critical thinking, patient education, teamwork, adherence to safety standards.

Key Duties:

  • Assist in complex surgical procedures, including foot and ankle, sports medicine, hand, upper extremity, shoulders, elbows, and hips.
  • Participate in professional development, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment alongside renowned surgeons and anesthesiologists, utilizing advanced technology.
