Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care activities within a fast-paced surgical environment, supporting complex procedures such as minimally invasive, cardiac, thoracic, robotic, lung transplants, vascular, and endovascular surgeries. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, promoting patient and family-centered care, educating patients on illness management, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. The role requires developing individualized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and evaluating physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred
- RN license required
- Experience in OR preferred; no prior experience required
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work safely in a high-alert environment
