Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
- Promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on post-treatment management, medication, and home care needs.
- Participating in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, as well as ongoing professional development.
- Developing and documenting individualized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring effective communication across care transitions.
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, addressing patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Current RN licensure.
- Experience in perioperative or operating room settings preferred; no supervisor experience necessary.
