Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced perioperative environment, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care following established standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural background.
- Maintain safety awareness as a critical component of the role.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- RN licensure required; no prior experience necessary, but two years of experience is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience in operating room or perioperative settings is advantageous.
