Role Overview: The Clinical Nurse Operating Room provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
- Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the interprofessional team, patients, and families.
- Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to care.
- Maintain safety and alertness as this position is safety-sensitive.
Qualifications:
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
- Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for higher ladder levels.
