Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced perioperative environment, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The role emphasizes promoting patient and family-centered care, education on post-treatment needs, and ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include developing and documenting individualized care plans, collaborating with an interprofessional team, and assessing physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN licensure with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred
- No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles
- Ability to work safely and alertly in a safety-sensitive position
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
