Clinical Nurse Oncology

Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in a specialized 30-bed unit focused on female health issues, primarily GYN Oncology. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards.

Key Duties:

  • Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
  • Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
  • Develops and documents personalized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and barriers.
  • Works in a safety-sensitive role, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.

  • Qualifications:
    • Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
    • Licenses & Certifications: Active RN license.
    • Experience: No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher qualification.
