Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in a specialized 30-bed unit focused on female health issues, primarily GYN Oncology. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards.
Key Duties:
Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
Develops and documents personalized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and barriers.
Works in a safety-sensitive role, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.
Qualifications:
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: Active RN license.
- Experience: No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher qualification.
