Clinical Nurse – Night Shift

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in a 29-bed unit specializing in oncology and medical-surgical patients, including administering inpatient chemotherapy. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Promotes patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Develops and documents individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients to meet care goals. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors. The role requires a safety-sensitive approach, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.

**Qualifications & Skills:**
– Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
– Licenses & Certifications: Active RN license.
– Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
– Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration abilities, with a focus on patient safety and education.
