Clinical Nurse – Neurology/Orthopedics

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care activities focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and documents individualized care plans with measurable goals, collaborating with the care team, patients, and families.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors.
  • Maintains safety protocols and adheres to standards of care in a safety-sensitive environment.
  • Qualifications & Skills:

    • Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
    • Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.

    Additional Information: The role supports patients with complex neurological and orthopedic conditions in an accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit. Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills are essential for success in this position.
