Clinical Nurse – Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring adherence to nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medications.
  • Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and compliance, and engage in professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
  • Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
  • Maintain safety awareness, working in a constant state of alertness.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
    – Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    – Licensure: Valid RN license.
    – Experience: No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher education.
    – Skills: Critical nursing skills, effective communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy.
