Clinical Nurse – Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring adherence to nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medications.

Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and compliance, and engage in professional development.

Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.

Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.

Maintain safety awareness, working in a constant state of alertness.

Qualifications and Skills:
– Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
– Licensure: Valid RN license.
– Experience: No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred for higher education.
– Skills: Critical nursing skills, effective communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy.
