Role Overview: The GI Motility RN provides specialized care for adult patients with gastrointestinal motility disorders, supporting a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing individualized care plans in coordination with providers and patients. Educating patients and families on managing their conditions, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Promoting patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance. Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations. Participating in professional development and ensuring effective communication across care teams.Qualifications and Skills: RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred). Experience in GI, Endoscopy, ICU, OR, or Critical Care is preferred. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
