Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in a top-ranked GI/GU surgical unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to nursing standards.
Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, communicating effectively across the continuum of care.
Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, and spiritual factors.
This safety-sensitive position requires alertness and safe work practices.
- Qualifications include a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree with RN licensure; Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 2+ years of experience.
- BSN is preferred; no supervisory experience required.
