Role Overview:
Our Float Pool nurses provide exceptional, patient-centered care across various specialized units, including ICUs and ER.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within established standards.
- Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participate in promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in ongoing professional development.
- Develop and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication.
- Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license required; Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing and two years of acute care experience.
- Ability to work safely and maintain alertness; experience in diverse clinical settings is advantageous.
