Role: Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department, conducting assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluations within nursing standards.
Responsibilities:
- Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication use.
- Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
- Maintains safety-sensitive standards, working in a constant state of alertness.
Qualifications:
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
- Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred.
