Position: Clinical Nurse Coordinator – Cath Lab
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical guidance, leadership, and support to nursing staff to ensure high-quality, safe patient care.
- Serve as the department charge nurse, managing staff assignments, patient flow, bed placement, and case coordination.
- Lead daily huddles, communicate department priorities, and address workflow and safety concerns.
- Manage staff schedules, attendance, performance, and daily staffing needs.
- Provide direct patient care when necessary and support staff education, quality improvement, and compliance initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Illinois RN license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Master’s in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience and 2 years in supervisory or leadership roles, such as charge nurse.
