Role: Coordinates and supervises nursing care on an assigned unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care.
Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care, supervises staff, assists with orientation, conducts performance appraisals, manages staffing, and addresses performance issues. Facilitates communication among staff, patients, and visitors, and supports policy development and adherence. Promotes evidence-based practices, mentors staff, and ensures regulatory compliance. Handles patient and family concerns, documents incidents, and participates in unit improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills: Enrolled in or graduate of a nursing degree program, with preferred bachelor’s degree. Demonstrates leadership, effective communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to manage resources efficiently and uphold regulatory standards.
