Role Overview: Provides direct patient care within a Cardiac Diagnostic Lab, collaborating with providers and care teams to develop and implement effective care plans. Supports clinical staff and assists providers with daily patient management, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical nursing skills.
- Follow clinical protocols and patient assessment guidelines to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Support documentation of patient assessments and treatment protocols in accordance with standards.
- Educate and support patients and families verbally and in writing, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with PCPs and specialists to develop and review care plans, facilitating wellness and healthcare outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of an ADN/BSN/MSN in Nursing.
- 2-5 years RN experience, preferably in a cardiac setting.
- Licenses & Certifications: RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Proficiency in IV management and EKG interpretation is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, patient education, and collaborative skills are essential.
