Role Overview:
The nurse will provide comprehensive care within a multidisciplinary team to patients with complex behavioral health needs, focusing on assessment, care planning, medication administration, monitoring, and emotional support for patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans aligned with nursing standards.
- Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
- Participate in ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural values.
- Communicate effectively across care teams to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- At least 1 year of experience in Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, or inpatient nursing; 2 years preferred.
- Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive environment.
