Role Overview
This position involves providing direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; engage in professional development.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients/families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: RN license required.
- Experience: No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
