This role involves providing direct patient care in a 24/7 outpatient Cancer Care Clinic, including assessments, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Key responsibilities include promoting patient and family-centered care, educating patients on illness management and post-treatment needs, ensuring safety and quality compliance, developing and communicating individualized care plans, and assessing physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs.
Qualifications: An RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least 2 years of experience. Prior oncology or critical care experience is preferred. The role is safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and safe work practices.
