Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in a 24/7 Cancer Care Clinic, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
- Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Accepted educational credentials: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- RN license required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.
- Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
