Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in a 24/7 Cancer Care Clinic, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Responsibilities:
- Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
- Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engages in professional development.
- Develops and documents individualized care plans with team collaboration, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
- Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
- Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN or ADN accepted).
- Active RN license required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
