Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive behavioral health services for children and adults, focusing on prevention, treatment, and recovery.
- Conduct psychiatric and medical assessments, evaluate co-existing conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with primary care providers.
- Monitor medication use, side effects, and interactions to ensure safe and effective care.
Qualifications:
- Valid California medical license (MD or DO), DEA certificate, Medicare and Medicaid numbers.
- Board-certified in Psychiatry (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology), completed residency in psychiatry or family medicine/psychiatry.
- Minimum 2 years of full-time psychiatric experience with children and adults.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal communication and experience working with children.
- Proficient with electronic health records and technology platforms.
Position is part-time, with pay ranging from $141.42 to $150.00 per hour based on experience.
