Overview:
This position offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive behavioral health services, primarily focusing on children, including prevention, treatment, and recovery support.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychiatric and medical assessments
• Collaborate with primary care providers for integrated treatment plans
• Monitor medication use, side effects, and interactions
Qualifications:
• Valid California medical license (MD or DO)
• Certification as a psychiatrist (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology)
• Residency training in psychiatry or family medicine/psychiatry
• Two years of full-time psychiatric experience in children and adults
• Medicare and Medicaid numbers prior to employment
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with electronic health records
