Charge RN – MedSurg, Renal Urology, Nights

Role Overview: Coordinates the delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, addressing operational issues during shifts. Provides clinical care as needed based on patient census and communicates patient, departmental, and staff concerns to leadership. Acts as a resource and guide for staff.


Qualifications:

  • Graduate from a nursing program (Required); Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • At least 1 year of hospital nursing experience (Required); 2+ years preferred
  • Valid RN license and Georgia State Licensure or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure (Required)
  • Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and unit-specific certifications as applicable (All Required)
  • Experienced emergency nurses have 30 days to obtain PALS certification

Key Duties: Ensure quality patient care, communicate effectively with staff and leadership, serve as a resource for clinical guidance, and maintain compliance with certification requirements.
