Role Overview: Provides quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle during 12-hour night shifts, overseeing clinical operations and addressing departmental issues. Acts as a resource and communicates patient, staff, and operational concerns to leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate delivery of nursing care and manage operational issues during shift
- Provide clinical care as needed based on patient census
- Communicate care, operational, and staff concerns to leadership
- Serve as a resource and guide to staff members
Qualifications:
- Graduate from a nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred
- Current RN licensure in the state and/or multistate licensure
- Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, and PEARS
- Additional specialty certifications may be required depending on unit
- Emergency Department nurses must obtain PALS within 30 days of start
