Role Overview: Provides quality nursing care across all patient ages, managing operational issues during shifts and serving as a resource for staff. Communicates patient and departmental concerns to leadership and offers guidance to team members.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver patient-centered nursing care
- Address operational challenges during shifts
- Ensure effective communication with staff and leadership
- Support and guide nursing team members
Qualifications:
- Graduate from a nursing program; Bachelor’s preferred
- Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
- RN license (Georgia State Licensure or NLC/eNCL Multistate)
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certifications
- Specialty certifications as applicable, including NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and Pediatric certifications if relevant
Skills: Strong communication, clinical expertise, resourcefulness, and the ability to handle operational issues in a hospital setting.
