Role: The Charge Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care based on theoretical concepts and standards of practice.
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care, utilize clinical decision-making, and ensure adherence to healthcare standards.
Qualifications: Must have a nursing degree (associate’s, diploma, or BSN), hold a current RN license, and maintain required certifications like Basic Life Support (BLS). Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or specialty-specific credentials may be required based on the unit.
Skills & Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
