Key Responsibilities
- Oversee unit workflow and coordinate wound care delivery
- Perform advanced wound assessment, treatment planning, and documentation
- Guide bedside nursing staff in evidence-based wound care practices
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support care continuity
- Educate patients and families on wound care and recovery
- Monitor outcomes and support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Mentor nursing staff and model a collaborative, patient-centered culture
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure
- Advanced knowledge of wound care assessment and treatment
- Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to mentor staff and apply evidence-based practice
- Comfort working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
