Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a primary point of contact for patients and families, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; assist with care plans and deliver treatments as outlined.
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure accurate documentation of assessments, care delivered, and incidents.
- Act as an advocate for patients, addressing concerns, providing education, and communicating with families and care providers.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, satisfaction, and staff engagement.
- Maintain professional licenses and certifications, pursue ongoing training, and stay current with industry best practices.
- Mentor and support fellow nurses, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professionalism.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates, Bachelors, or Masters in Nursing.
- Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
Additional Duties: Support organizational policies, uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards, and contribute to shared governance activities. Performs other assigned duties to support hospital operations.
