Role Overview:
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assisting with care planning and executing interventions to promote outcomes and wellbeing.
Deliver safe, effective care according to policies, maintaining thorough documentation of assessments, treatments, and incidents.
Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, providing education, and communicating vital information to families and staff.
Contribute to performance improvement initiatives, supporting organizational goals for quality, satisfaction, and efficiency.
Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and involvement in professional organizations.
Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a positive work environment and upholding standards of confidentiality, safety, and professionalism.
Participate in shared governance, promote the nursing profession, and support recruitment efforts.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Valid nursing license, with multi-state compact license preferred.
- Required certifications include BLS (Basic Life Support) upon hire.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaborative skills.
